Reading is always something that I enjoyed, and Nancy Drew has played a big part in my love for it. I picked up my first Nancy Drew when I was 11 years old, and I couldn't put it down! The first ND I read was a Secret in Time. I read it in the car all the way home from the store and then all day until I finished it. I loved it so much I read it again. :) Then I begged my Mom to take me back to the store to buy some more!
Through those books I got to travel all over the world and learn about differnet countries and cultures. I solved countless mysteries and always out-witted the bad guys. Nancy taught me to believe that I could be good at anything I tried and that there was mystery and adventure around every corner. Nancy Drew taught me how to dream and I lead quite a life for an 11 year-old girl sitting on her living room sofa. :)
I wanted to grow up to be just like Nancy or at the very least write my own series about a clever girl sleuth. Instead, I've grown up to be just your average girl, who can't write, and who spends more time on the internet than she cares to admit. :) But I've never lost my love and appreciation for Nancy Drew. So, when I started building webpages, it only seemed natural to make one about my favorite girl detective.
I hope you enjoy visiting this site as much as I have enjoyed builing it.
